Finally Found a Vanity

"Vanities are never going to go out of style..."

I love antique shops, ever since I was little I would love to just explore all the neat finds that are hidden in every corner. Another love of mine is vanities, I remember when I was little and pretending to put make up on when my nana was putting her's on and doing her hair. So this find was a spectacular one. Using my mama's crafty help we decided to redo this older vanitythat is chipped on the corners and missing paint on the legs.

Sanding is something, I defintely never have liked. I used our new little hand sander which was simple and very quiet. At first we used a tougher pad because I wanted to remove the flower that was on top mainly. So using the sander I went the same way everytime and went slow. A few sander pads later the flower painting on top was gone. I continued with the rougher pad to take the paint off the top. Once that was gone it looked like this:

 

 

I then started to primer and took my time. I let that dry and it came out like this :
